ClipScribeSign-in session cookie
On the HTTPS website, Better Auth uses __Secure-better-auth.session_token to authenticate your session. It is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with a default seven-day lifetime that can renew during use. The non-HTTPS development name is better-auth.session_token. Blocking or clearing this cookie can sign you out; it does not delete your account or task history.
Language and optional services
NEXT_LOCALE remembers your selected language. This release has no advertising or analytics integration. Stripe Checkout and its customer portal may use their own necessary cookies under their privacy policies. No optional tracking consent is assumed.
Browser extension and workspace
Chrome extension storage keeps display settings, local transcript drafts and saved copies; separate session storage keeps the extension login session. These are not website cookies. Workspace display settings and unsaved edits stay in the current page session. Clearing local storage can remove local copies without deleting cloud account records. The Contact form prepares an email draft and sends nothing automatically.
